UB Poker continues to rebuild their base of sponsored players in the wake of Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke leaving a couple of months ago. And it looks like these two could be long forgotten at UB since they re-signed one of poker’s best young talents in Adam “Roothlus” Levy.

Levy is best known for his online poker play, where he’s earned over $3.6 million in online tournament winnings, which includes several huge victories at UB and Full Tilt Poker. In addition to his online poker tournament exploits, Levy has over $1.5 million in live tourney winnings. Some of his biggest live tournament cashes include ninth place in the 2007 WPT Ontario NAPC ($84,437), 5th place in the WPT Fiesta al Lago ($266,445), and 12th place in the 2010 WSOP *Main Event ($635,011).

After signing the deal, Levy issued a statement saying, “UB has been my home for the past two years, and I’m looking forward to another two years with them. They have really great tournament structures and schedules, and I’m excited to see what other great changes are coming to the site.”

As part of his deal, Levy will be hosting the Pro Bounty Madness tournament every week at UB, which offers a $60,000 guaranteed prize pool. In addition to this, any internet poker player who manages to knock Levy out of the tourney will receive a free seat to UB’s weekly $200,000 Guaranteed.

After re-signing Levy, UB now has a pretty impressive lineup of players that includes Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin (re-signed in February), Tiffany Michelle, Brandon Cantu, Joe Sebok, Maria Ho, Prahlad Friedman and others. With all of the pro players they have promoting their online poker room, UB is sure to attract more players to their 30% rakeback deals.
